BELLAIRE, TX (KTRK) -- Bellaire city council meets tonight, just a few days after a bizarre officer-involved shooting. And members of the public may comment on the shooting for the first time.
Last Wednesday, Robert Tolan was shot in front of his family's home on Woodstock. He and a relative were returning from picking up fast food around 2am when police confronted them.
Police suspected their SUV was stolen. In fact, it was registered to Tolan and his father at the home on Woodstock.
Tolan played baseball at Bellaire high school. He had been drafted by the Washington Nationals after college.
