Killed Guadalupe Gonzalez Morales on 11/10/00

Guadalupe Gonzalez Morales, 49, is shot in the arm, leg and head and killed by Baytown police officer Scott James, 30. Morales had tried to break into a former girlfriend's home. James was shot four (4) times but survived because he was wearing body armor. James' brother, a Pasadena police officer, said he had shot two men on separate occasions; one was wounded, the other was killed. He said, "My parents are proud of us."
