HPD Probes Sex Assault Claim Against Cop

HOUSTON - FOX 26 has learned a Houston police sergeant is now the target on an internal criminal probe.

Sources say that policeman is accused of sexually assaulting a female at a bachelor/wedding party.

HPD confirms the sergeant has been relieved of duty with pay and is under investigation.

He's been on the force for 11 years and works out of the eastside station.

FOX 26 is not identifying because he hasn't been charged criminally.
