HOUSTON - Two men are arrested after an officer, who said he feared for his life, shoots at a suspicious vehicle in north Houston.

The shooting took place at approximately 11:15 p.m. Monday at the 100 block of Goodson Drive in north Houston. Police say that the officer fired his weapon once into the front window of the vehicle.

The officers had stopped the two men in the vehicle for a traffic violation, but the driver left the engine running while the lights were turned off.

When the suspicious vehicle was driven toward the police car, one of the officers shot toward the suspects.

The two men in the vehicle escaped from the officers and abandoned the vehicle a short distance away, but officers found the men hiding in an apartment complex.

No one was wounded or hurt as a result of the shooting.
