Police crash patrol cars while chasing carjacking suspects

(6/18/05 - HOUSTON) A chase in Houston’s Third Ward leaves police with a big mess to clean up.

During Saturday morning's chase, an officer crashed his patrol car into a parked car, sending it into a neighbor’s garage. Two patrol cars also collided with each other at a different location.

Officers eventually caught up with two suspects and arrested them. Police say the pair are suspects in an earlier carjacking.
