Ex-probation officer accused of two more sexual assaults
Staff
An ex-Harris County adult probation officer, accused of forcing a probationer to have sex in exchange for leniency, is back in jail after being accused of sexually assaulting two other probationers.
Bail was revoked for William Donald Nolen, 43, because he was late for a pretrial hearing. At that hearing, prosecutors were going to request his bail be revoked because of three new charges, Assistant District Attorney Lisa Andrews said.
Nolen, a 10-year veteran of the Harris County Community Supervision and Corrections Department, was arrested Oct. 19 at the Budget Lodge in Channelview, where he met a female under his supervision who was on probation for drug possession, said authorities.
That month, he was charged with one count of sexual assault and one count of attempted sexual assault. He was released on $100,000 bail.
Andrews said two other women had made allegations that Nolen used his position as a probation officer to pressure them for sexual favors.
Nolen's attorney, George Parnham, denied the allegations.
